Atlassian exits fiscal 2026 as a collaboration-software company that finally printed GAAP operating profit in the same quarter Cloud growth re-accelerated, then immediately guided a slower year. The investment debate is whether the Teamwork Graph and enterprise collections convert AI usage into durable expansion, or whether the August print simply pulled Data Center license revenue forward ahead of an engineered trough.
Cloud revenue rose 31% in the June quarter. Remaining performance obligations, the contracted revenue not yet recognized, jumped 44%. Those two prints are the cleanest signal that large customers are signing longer contracts rather than just refreshing seats. Subscription annual recurring revenue still grew 23%. Management now guides next year's subscription growth at 18%. Total revenue growth is guided to only 13%. Data Center revenue is expected to fall about 17% as the prior-year end-of-life pull-forward rolls off.
The March restructuring that cut roughly one tenth of the workforce and removed the chief technology officer is already visible in a 12% GAAP operating margin. Free cash flow still absorbed tens of millions of severance. What the next four quarters have to prove is whether Cloud can hold mid-twenties growth after that Data Center sugar high fades, and whether Rovo adopters keep expanding at twice the rate of everyone else. If Cloud decelerates with the headline guide, the multiple is paying for a one-quarter AI celebration rather than a platform reset.
