What we're building, and why

TickerFile is built for investors who want research with real depth. We cover the small- and mid-cap tickers that get little or no analyst attention, the overlooked majority of US public companies.

Why this exists

Most retail research tools split the universe in two: deep coverage of a handful of mega-caps, or shallow summaries across thousands of tickers. We wanted both: real coverage breadth, with the rigor of a dedicated analyst rather than a one-paragraph summary that goes stale the moment a company reports.

How we work

Every report starts with the company's own disclosures. We read the underlying material, including earnings releases, filings, and transcripts, then pull out the things that actually matter for the business: revenue mix, margin trajectory, balance sheet posture, the risks the company itself flags, and the ones it doesn't. Each report is structured the same way so you can scan to the section you care about.

What we don't do

We don't make price calls. We don't publish ratings, target prices, or buy/sell recommendations. TickerFile is a research desk, not a brokerage. Our job is to make the underlying numbers legible and the business legible around them so you can do the deciding yourself, with your own conviction.

Editorial standards

TickerFile is an independent information service operated by its founder. Our reports are based on publicly available company disclosures and are written for readers who want to understand a business, its financial position, and the risks around its execution. We do not publish ratings, target prices, or buy and sell recommendations.

Reports are dated so readers can distinguish the information available at publication from later developments. Because public company data can change and our research is prepared with automated analysis systems, readers should verify important figures against the company's own filings before relying on them.

Independence and conflicts

TickerFile may pursue sponsorships and partnerships, including promotional relationships. Those relationships do not give a sponsor or partner editorial control, and we will not lower our reporting standards or change our analysis because of one. The founder may personally hold positions in companies covered by TickerFile. Readers should treat every report as general educational information, not personalized investment advice.
