EO Charging (EOC): The Nasdaq Ticker That Never Traded

The ticker EOC has no live equity behind it. It is the symbol that Juuce Limited, the UK electric vehicle fleet charging business trading as EO Charging, was scheduled to use when a merger with First Reserve Sustainable Growth Corp. placed the company on the Nasdaq. The deal was announced in August 2021 at a pro forma enterprise value of $675 million, and it never closed.

The SPAC partner, First Reserve Sustainable Growth Corp., liquidated in March 2023 after missing its combination deadline. The UK business continued privately for another three years and entered administration in the spring of 2026. EOC therefore appears in screening tools as a name with a real company history and a real failure, but no current security, no reporting record, and no valuation to update.

The substance of this report is the record of why the symbol points to an empty chair. A de-SPAC died on market conditions, a private company expanded past its capital base, and a 2026 insolvency left PwC administrators to wind the business down. The record also explains a mismatch: the dispatch brief suggested EOC might be an oil and gas name, but the EDGAR company files place the symbol with a fleet charging issuer that was never listed. The entity carrying the EOC name in EDGAR, identified by a nine digit CIK, holds a trail of merger registration statements and a withdrawal request, and no 10-K or 10-Q of its own.
