Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd delivered a standout opening quarter of fiscal year 2027, with consolidated revenue of $479M for the three months ended in early August. The result more than doubled the $223M reported in the comparable prior-year period. The increase reflects a meaningful ramp of the firm's ZeroFlap Active Electrical Cable product family at hyperscale customers. A recent acquisition of Dust Photonics has expanded the firm's silicon photonics capabilities and meaningfully widened the vertical stack.

Non-GAAP gross margin reached 68.0% during the quarter. GAAP gross margin of 64.5% absorbed a step-up in amortization tied to the purchase price allocation. Operating leverage remained strong, with operating income of $120.7M representing a 25.2% margin against revenue. Net income landed at $129.4M, with diluted earnings per share of $0.67 on a GAAP basis. Management issued second-quarter guidance for revenue between $525M and $535M. The margin profile suggests that incremental revenue continues to translate efficiently into operating profit despite the integration costs of the recent transaction.

Concentration remains the central tension for the franchise. Two customers accounted for an estimated 71% of quarterly revenue. End-customer disclosure shows three end customers each contributing 10% or more. The United States became the dominant shipping destination. It captured 53% of revenue versus 37% a year ago. Mainland China fell to less than 1% from 23% during the comparable prior-year period. With shares trading near $164 and a market capitalization near $30.9B, the valuation embeds expectations of substantial cable revenue compounding. The balance sheet carries a large cash and short-term investment position to support the ongoing build-out. Execution risk remains tied to customer mix and a goodwill balance that expanded sharply following the recent transaction.
